isaiah is getting outsted from indy according to espn news at 3:10 PM. I think it would be great to hire him as an assistant if he would come and be a mentro to francis. He has championship experience at point guard and Steve can learn at lot from him.
Yeah...that would be great. But I don't think he will want to be an assistant under someone else. Too bad for him. I wonder how Jermaine O'Neal feels! It doesn't matter anyways...because the Pacers suck without a center.
hehe confirmed http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/6631981.htm Isiah is an egomaniac of a coach. About as opposite as you can get from Rudy and JVG. I wonder if the Pacers new President of Basketball Operations fired him. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!! Isiah sucks. Indy will definitely improve now. I can only hope Isiah doesn't get a gig with one of the networks. The only thing worse than him walking up and down the sidelines is watching him smile.
He would be about as good an influence as an assistant coach as Michael Jordan was as a mentor the last two years.
Zeke really wasn't a very good coach. Some good ideas, but he really needed a more experienced hand to work with. Too bad. That, and the sense you can't trust him.
I'm with Crisco on this one. I just hope he doesn't end up on TV. It takes him like two weeks to complete a sentence. Well....Marv..he.....took...him to...the.....play...ground.............................on....that.....one...............ummm....yeah...hmmmhmmm........?
I was going to say, "That, and the sense you get the feeling that the penultimate Pacer Coach turned President, Larry Bird, considers Isiah's a pouting, posing Piston and was dying to fire him for Rick Carlisle, Bird's previous asst coach, and the Pacer's said, 'Yeah, boy-howdy, we were wondering how we were going to handle this PR nightmare, but with Bird and Carlisle on board, everyone will quickly forget." As you can see, I'm still giggling.
indiana's god has spoken. that's what its like when you have a leader, i bet when bird was playing with the celtics it was understood that 'its my way or the hi-way', he doesn't give a **** who you are. that's what rox need, a freakin leader!
I think thats why we fired Rudy T. he was not that type of leader. now we have J.V.G he is a get in youre face my way or the highway leader we desperatly needed.
Isiah should have resigned when as soon as Larry Bird took over and Carisle wasa out of a job. It was a setup from day one and cowardly on Nash side because he didn't want to do it himself. Its true that Thomas hasn't made it out of the first rd, but considering the youth on his team and the progression the team has made, i think they made a mistake.
