Jones is passionate only when he's having a great night. He then even complains about lack of effort from teammates
Milkhair strikes again. Harden probably wants McHale gone too, if he plays any more poorly McHale would surely lose his job.
i have a terrible feeling. other than this thread, i dont see much anger here tonight. maybe that's a sign of many dont care much no more, just like how this team looks like on the court. smh.
Lol typed the op from my iPad, some pretty good typos. Yeah look as I said I am level-headed, I am realistic that teams can slump... But this is just not pleasant what we are watching. I mean we have some serious issues with chemistry which I can't figure out . I'd be done with milkair now. Get thibs
Dwight prob sees how stupid milkhair is but cant say anything or else it will be another headline of how he wants coaches fired (justified this time)
the product the rockets are putting on display is horrid. I feel as if the year the Texans were supposed to contend with noodle arm schaub, and then they went 2-14.
The problem with this team is that we lack a true leader. We got away with it last year because we were a young team that hadn't experienced success yet. Making the WCF was a remarkable feat last year given the circumstances. However, that is the very reason that we are struggling now. This team doesn't know how to deal with success. How a team handles success is just as critical as how it handles failure. How do we fix this? We either bring in a coach who will lay into these guys and gain their respect, add a 'glue guy' in terms of leadership, or James has to take the next step in his development as the face of a franchise. Without the leadership role, he will never be as good as he could be. Regardless, something must be done. We might win some big games here and there, but we won't be winning a title without that leader. And as of now, it looks like McHale certainly won't do anything about it.
It wasn't a waste. We will make the playoffs without doubt. We started 5-4 when Dwight arrived (including getting blown out a bunch of times). It will start to come together over the next 10, then we will be grooving after that. Bit sad that we had 8 pre season games and still couldn't work out the best lineup though. I suppose injury played a part. I'll be crying if this same crap is happening in 5 games time though...
I kind've feel this way too... I love the Rockets LOVE LOVE LOVE... but when you watch your team do the same stupid things, you watch your star lose his touch and stop leading the team, don't see hustle and improvement... you kind've stop caring if you make other plans the nights the Rockets play. I used to be SO disappointed when I had to work on nights when Houston played... now I'm kind've glad that I've only gotten to see 3 out of 9 games. I've seen 2 wins and a loss... and they only looked "okay" in one of those wins, but never good. Hurts the heart.
It hurts man but not the go in the corner sad hurt it's the I'm pissed off hurt. Mchale has that effect. I don't understand why he doesn't have a great assistant coaching staff like Steve Kerr...
I told my brother the other night that this season I started watching with high hopes but NOW this team has to make me believe again. I know as Owners and GMs you can't pull the trigger on tough decisions to quickly but by-damn do they see what I'm seeing?
this, and it's quite liberating not to care about something we shouldn't care that much about to begin with if we are healthy functioning adults
I've said it before, but I just don't like this team. I don't like the coaching, the sets, the horrible inconsistency, the attitudes of the players, the rotations, you name it and I'm pretty much tired of it. Bring on Durant and let's blow it up and start all over again.
