Need to nip the problem in the bud now. 10 games will be too late.

I try to stay positive and support the team but when we lose 20 point leads or when we lose to scrub teams....something needs to change. Time for me to vent.

Rockets dont have a leader in James Harden. He's probably still partying with Kardashians every night, instead he should spend some of that bonding with teammates.

does this team really have "THIS much talent"?

exactly how much is it? a serious question to think about. now is a good time, imo.

These games all matter. We all know how one game decided playoff seeding last year. This was supposed to be one of hr gimme wins.

This is officially my question as well.

We talked all about how good our depth was this offseason, but what happens when the supposedly good depth all play terribly?

After the Nets loss, I'm not really that upset tonight. Maybe it's because I was expecting it. Just a few quick thoughts,

    1) So McHale starts Harrell and benches Jones who has been our reliable starter when healthy for the past two years now. Predictably, Harrell plays like crap and seems clueless (but hey he plays hard right) and Jones blatantly outplays him. But still McHale starts the 2nd half with Harrell and has to take him out after only a few minutes. Jones continues to play well with the starting group, yet is benched for almost the 4th quarter. Yup, classic McHale right there.

    2) Refs were terrible and called much more flops against the Rockets than usual, but it didn't really matter because we played so bad.

Exactly my thoughts. Most disappointed I've been in a team since I started watching.

I was about to post this! I was thinking that too, the dark ages of Rockets bball. I went into games not really expecting anything, just to casually watch some bball. It's how I feel now.

Lol, well the other team he would have gone to is even worse somehow haha.

Just spent $500 to take my kids to the game in Denver... at least the beer was good.

After the Texans got off to a horrible start, I said I can't wait for the Rockets' season to start. Wow was I wrong.

The team is out of sink. Ball movement is erratic at best and our defense has been average to poor. We made Barton look like a star tonight.

James looks bored at points in the game. A lot of the shots he's taken this year are forced.

Denver exposed Howard's lack of a post game and the ghost of Ty Lawson made an appearance at the game, but didn't scare anyone.

TJones appeared pissed and played with some fire and aggression. He was the only bright spot besides Terry's 3s.

We're playing as individuals and that has to stop for us to start winning some games.

I think it's time to start considering the possibility that this team just isn't that good. Effort, coaching, hunger, blah blah blah... maybe we just aren't good?

Was the other team Dallas? Because they currently have a better record than us even though their starters were out during the preseason and Parsons has barely played, lol. You gotta laugh at this to keep from breaking stuff.

So this is what we get after practicing effort yesterday?

Some people will say this is a contender team again after we beat a crap team.

Same players, lots of talent and we are losing because we just aren't that good? With all due respect, I gotta disagree.

Yup. It doesn't take long to know what a team is. 10 games is enough. You don't just snap out of a stretch like this. They are what they are, which is a mediocre team. Unfathomable given last year and the roster we have...but that's where we are.

Nah that's not how they roll, they beat contenders and lose to the crappy teams.

i said exactly this right before or when the season started. and i am not in a "i told ya" mood right now.

not too late to lower expectations a little bit.

I think it's very possible that last year was much more of an overachievement than this year is an underachievement. Obviously things can change, but it's on the table until further notice.
