McHale walked off before the game ended.

Well if Morey still thinks coaching doesn't matter after this, then he needs to go too.

Morey has to swallow his ego and pride and do what is best for this team. Get rid of this stupid puppet lap dog head coach McFail and go get a real coach.

Extending him was a mistake and now Morey must can this moron McFail.

All just to say you got rid of McHale.

Sorry, don't care personally for Brooks or Jackson.

Funny thing is before the game started Worrell says "McHale doesn't care about the Xs and Os and just wants the team to play harder."

Problem is they aren't even playing hard. So no strategy and no passion...

Has anyone done the math to know how much we'd be on the hook for McHale if they fired him now?

Maybe they can keep him on as a Director of Personnel since he can recruit well?

How much of McHale's fault is it that Brewer, Ariza, and Lawson are each shooting about 30%? He's an average coach it seems but still.

Dude seriously? So tired of excuses. This team has TOO much talent to blame ish like that. Can't have a game plan that relies on Harden scoring 30. We simply can't win enough games with that strategy.

too many players in a shooting slump who don't have the floor iq, ft shooting, or defense to get by in the meantime. this is a flawed roster that overachieved last season.

How can you have floor IQ or even evaluate IQ when there is not structure out there?

On offense they just do whatever and on defense they have no plan.

Just guard this guy and chase him down. They seem to make no adjustments on defense. Tomorrow night Carlisle will run his same pick play to get the Rockets to switch a guard on Dirk. Just watch.

Unless they come to some sort of buyout agreement, I would assume they're on the hook for the entire contract. So around 13 mil give or take. But Les as a businessman has to look at the long-term ramifications of keeping McHale around and what it could mean to this franchise.

If they play like this the rest of the year, they're lotto-bound. That means a lot of empty seats and far fewer ticket sales heading into next season(and possibly beyond). And oh BTW, Dwight's a free agent after this season(assuming he opts out) and could easily bolt if he doesn't see any shot at a title with this organization.

So Les can stubbornly refuse to admit he made a mistake and save himself a few million, but in the process he may be dooming this team to mediocrity for a long time. Especially if God forbid we lose Harden after 2018 when he's a free agent.

When they are standing still and shooting contested shots. He has plenty to do with it. Yeah they missed some open shots but we were chucking contested three's that whole damn game. We were all running at the person with the ball and leaving the guys on the wings open on D, play after play after play. Mchale went to a 2 3 zone leaving shooters open also. No accountability to James Harden for leaving his man. Inexplicably sitting Mcdaniels and Dekker eventhough Brewer could not layup a damn tennis ball at this point. Sitting Jones who was on Fire for a large period when he has no problem playing Harden, Ariza, and our new non shooting pg heavy minutes. Yes it's partly his fault.

McHale's can't coach offense, defense, X's and O's, can't call timeouts, can't get rotations right and now can't even get the team to play harder

And just using stupid rhetoric like "we need to play harder" " we need to play smarter" "the ball got sticky" " there was no rhythm" doesn't cut it

    **** OFF please

Here is the thing, there is never accountability.

If the players are standing around and not running the play then take said players out of the game. Good coaches simply do not stand for that. They simply don't.

Remember when Carlisle got after Rondo for trying to do his own thing? Remember when Pop would get on Parker early in his career?

Good coaches don't see 4 players watching one player at the top of the key and think that's a fine, that's cool. If you allow your players to do that and don't punish them for it then they will continue to do it.

The bad habits this team developed years and years from McHale are showing now.

yes, we should have been a lottery team last season. if not for mchale's masterfully brilliant coaching performance, we would have only won 20 games.

McHale isn't going anyplace. The only thing we can pray for now if they atleast try on defense and Harden goes superman every gane from here on out
