LivesMatter# is a joke.... black lives, blue lives....... it is all a joke. BLM was founded by racist extremists that support the killing of the police. Blue LM are a joke too..... just a response to BLM. Stop shooting and killing people.

I did, and you're wrong. Hell, the guy that was restrained to a chair and tortured to death in police custody...the officer gets one month in jail and 3 years of probation.

Here are some articles on the matter that I know you will ignore because you are allergic to numbers and stats and only go by your gut feels.

Summary. More people are killed by police than the opposite.

Yeah, except in our society all lives aren't treated as if they matter equally. That's the whole point of the damn movement.

The fact that this even needs to be explained is ****ing mind-boggling to me.

Saw that coming. Congratulations on once again completely ignoring the reality and numbers of the situation and to just rely on your feels.

of course blue lives matter. But it's silly to need that movement because as a society we already put more value to a life of a cop than we do a black person. That's the whole point of black lives matter - to say that blacks lives are equal to other lives - just as important as a cop.

Blue lives matter is just a way to minimize black lives matter

People aren't outraged by the deaths of farmers, loggers, and garbage men because they are accidental. No one is outraged when cops die in a car accident either. People are outraged when police officers are killed by criminals. If commercial fishermen were dying in significant numbers from pirate attacks instead of industrial accidents and drownings, people would be outraged by that as well. Agency behind the deaths is an important consideration.

Isn't it cops who are constantly telling us how dangerous their jobs are? Are there not plenty of people out there who love reminding us that when cops leave their home in the morning, they may not come back?

A LEO's job, by definition, is to enforce the law. And that sometimes means coming face to face with violent psychopaths. It's an occupational hazard, and every single LEO in America knew what they were signing up for when they joined the force. They accepted that risk when they put on the uniform.

When someone gets killed because a cop performed their job incorrectly, or worse because the violent psychopath was the one with the gun and the badge? They weren't anticipating that risk when they left their home in the morning. They didn't sign up for that. End of story.

It's not about outrage, it's about the fact that society places more value on some lives than others. Do you deny this? Do you deny that when a celebrity dies they are more celebrated than others? When a firefighter dies in the line of duty, we honor their death more, especially when they showed heroism. When a soldier dies, it matters a lot. To all of us. When Moses Malone dies, we are more upset.

Their lives mean more to us than a random person in China. That is true right?

Some lives matter more to us than others. That's human nature. Cops act in a way to protect their lives - and take actions because their lives matter. So they can be quick to pull the trigger to protect their own life.

The issue people have is that no one actually is a criminal until they are put through due process. But we are seeing many disturbing images where cops are treating people as if their lives do not matter.

And it is this that movement is about. Why this is so hard to understand is perplexing.

Including the little kids? Like the ones used as suicide bombers, for example? Who may actually have a shot at rehabilitation?

I'd personally rather see them captured than killed. Not that I think that's generally a realistic option. But it's what I'd prefer to see.

    YMMV, of course.

And would you go to a breast cancer awareness meeting and scold everyone because they should be raising awareness for ALL types of cancer?
