Its hilarious how ppl dont want thibs because he practices too hard, when at the end thats probably what will make the difference between us losing to **** teams and playing down to our competition.....This loose bs is exactly whats wrong with this team, everything is fine cuz you can blow assignments, not play d, do whatever the **** you want cuz mchale wont even care...no sets, no offensive or defensive strategy and no clue what matchups are therefore our rotations are systematic when it should usually depend on game flow and whos out there...to lsoe to 0-7 brooklyn and a disgusting denver team at home...unacceptable yet no one will be held accountable
if we were boiled eggs, we would need to be place back into the water for an additional 3-5min (per mchale)
Yeahhhhh I'm about ready to jump on the bandwagon. The complete inability to come ready to play against inferior opponents time and time again, especially at home, is embarrassing. It's an indictment against McHale and his ability to prepare the team. The rebounding is atrocious and it's like they don't even practice it, and the defense from last year has totally disappeared. Having said that...it also says a lot about the players that they can't come ready to play. Last year you could tell the players gave a damn and took all the criticism they got after the Portland series to heart. This year they get a bunch of offseason hype and they play totally lethargic basketball.
No, he isn't. I hate to admit it. They'll likely p-ss away this season before admitting to themselves he's not the guy to take this team to a title.
We make fun of McHale for repeating that team needs to play harder. But a lot of the time this team indeed doesn't play hard.
"once again, ya know, the players just didn't follow my flawless gameplan, they didn't fully execute my fullproof in-game instructions. god i wish i had lionel's roster, my guys just don't have it. and they don't play hard enough either"
