Cheap Heat better come back. It was so damn good. Only other alternatives are Sam Roberts, obviously Austin and Jericho. PW Torch is okay too but not worth subscribing TBH.

I like Jericho and Austin's podcast but they are more about guest and I like podcast about what's happening this week.

I listen to The Wrestling Compadres slamcast occasionally but it can run long sometimes, and this week I listened to the Curtain Jerks podcast for the first time and they legitimately had me LMAO for a five minute stretch when they were impersonating Earl Hebner.

But I agree Cheap Heat needs to come back... I think they are trying to set it up they are just not sure what site they will release it on yet.

    Ross report is good.

Flair's one is amazing. Although his side kick Conrad is a douche

I listened to Cheap Heat for a little bit but Rosenberg's (sound board/gimmick) wore thin on me and i gave up on it after a couple of months.

I will occasionally listen to Austins/jerichos/nature boys podcast if they have good guests on.

Jericho's 25th anniversary podcast with his buddies was hilarious.

    Haha.

I retired in August 2013 after a good 3 years.

Wasn't getting any younger and back was killing me almost daily. So got out while the going was good.

    Thanks for asking

    Wade Barrett 2016

I thought he was ready 3 years ago before the shoulder/arm injuries but he looks better than ever

    Round Twos:
    Reigns vs Cesaro
    Ambrose vs Ziggler
    Owens vs Neville/Barrett
    Del Rio vs Ryback

Winner of this tournament is not going to be Reigns but will be a heel turn of someone joining the Authority. Really think it's Cesaro or Ambrose.

I think Reigns turns on Dean at Survivor Series.

If I recall correctly, when HHH offered him the spot as "the man", Roman responded by saying "not tonight".

Yea they have to be angling something to that effect because otherwise why the hell would you have Roman vs. Cesaro in the secound round.

That's not the way to get you big face champion over.

Reigns wouldn't need to turn to beat Dean, it would be the other way around.

Reigns turn would be too obvious now that Trips extended the offer (even if it was scoffed at)

Nah. It would make sense to turn Reigns. We'll see how this is booked next week. Ambrose has shown in the past he can gain momentum in an instant with his superior mic work. So if he gains momentum and looks like he'll win. Reigns could be forced to turn to get the title. It'll be obvious which one it's gonna be with the clues they're dropping.

    1) Reigns saying "not tonight"
    2) If Reigns shows any villainous signs vs Cesaro next week
    3) Other signs of a Reigns turn

If these things happen, I think Reigns will turn.

Otherwise Ambrose is probably gonna turn. One of them will for sure though if wwe has any clue.

It makes more sense for Reigns to turn and become a new Corporate Rock type. But Ambrose is a pretty damn good heel/tweener type. Never liked him as a full face.

    Reigns didn't say "not tonight"

He shouldn't have spoken but just stared at the belt as the segment ends after Trips finished talking, but once he turned him down, nah. They like the swerves from out of nowhere not something that's fresh in the minds of people.

I'd say they stick with the plans of him being the guy to take on the Authority probably challenging at WM. His first title, should be at WM.

Thinking Ambrose, Barrett or Owens, maybe Cesaro or about to be the Authority's next champ.

And so far Cesaro has bought Wayne Rooney a ringside seat to distract Barrett ringside and Sheamus in the ring for the easy rollup pin. Good secret op heel work. That's how I'm interrupting it anyway

They have booked themselves into a mess with Reigns. He is extremely polarizing right now. They could turn Cesaro or Ambrose, but do they really think fans will roundly boo either one of them? Plus I don't think it elevates either one of them as performers unless they plan to let them have the belt, and run with it until mania.

Because they have made it so painfully obvious that Reigns is the chosen one, there is no intrigue in his ascension whatsoever. Basically every other main event performer got themselves over as a heel first, then made the hot transition to babyface. It's a time tested method. They have booked Reigns as the never cheat superman from the jump. I think his poor booking has forever put a ceiling on how popular he can be, some people will flat out never like him regardless of his obvious strides in the ring. I think a heel turn here is the last chance to win over that anti Reigns camp, and truly turn him into a megastar down the line.

As soon as he goes heel, I'm going to hate how everyone is gonna jump on the bandwagon. The fans I dislike the most is the boo the faces, cheer the heels guy.

I've always been a "cheer the heel guy". They're characters are always more interesting. I grew up watching the Four Horsemen (arguably the greatest stable of all-time) and i knew they were heels and still cheered for them. Heels are always the champ because everyone else loves watching the chase from the face to become champ. Its the same story all over again, face has to overcome insurmountable odds to become champ. Heels play their characters all sorts of ways.

That being said, I'm not a Roman Reigns fan. Ambrose and Rollins played second-fiddle to him in the Shield, but they're much better on the mic and in the ring. If Reigns goes heel, that's not gonna make me cheer for him.

When faces get booed and heels get cheered, outside of the small segment of smart fans its because of how poorly the character is portrayed and that's creative's fault.

When Austin was the top babyface, no one booed him. When Rock was the top babyface, no one booed him either. Cena was universally loved UNTIL his act got stale.

When heels are cheered its because of a failure to really seem dastardly in the eyes of fans. Most heels are trying to go for being cool than being just unlikable, scumbag people that you want to see get beat up.

Triple H was a great heel because he was a twisted, self-obsessed ****head. So was Flair.

When heels get cheered its because of them reaching legendary status or really a sign they should go babyface without having a total character overhaul. (Austin stayed the same when he turned face but just tweaked his character a bit going after a bitter Bret Hart and then Vince and the Corporation)
