It was a nice surprise actually. Definitely a cool little bonus, especially since I can play it on my xb1. And I will eventually, too immersed in 4 right now though. I won't be able to focus at work tomorrow.
Lol! I knew it came with the preorder but Bestbuy did me and a lot of others wrong with this midnight release at some other time zone crap. SO I just digital ordered mine losing my preorder bonus of fallout 3 without thinking. Oh well
On Xbox live it had the fallout 3 pre order as well, but if u didn't pre order it and just bought the game it probably didn't give it to you.
for me, it would be cheaper to just buy a PS4 than to upgrade my computer enough to play anything current. I quit building bleeding edge PCs years ago. and PS4 has the Drake games that I love. but moot point for me, cant afford either a PS4 nor the games to play on it, nor do I have the time to play them. But I want to....
Fallout and Witcher will give you much more bang for your buck. I prefer Fallout to Witcher, but both are top-notch games.
Well my PC is kind of old, slow and with not very much room for storage. I would love to get it on the PC. I will need a new one eventually but I don't want to count on it for gaming. I used to do that, then it seemed like I needed a new computer or major upgrade every time a new game came out, so I switched to XB 360. Because I like the integration with other media. My wife likes the idea of the Kinect recognizing each of us. It has a greater storage option which would mean not buying an external HD right away. Also their backwards compatibility with my XB360 games is huge.
Anyone get this as a disc on xbox one know how big the file to save is? Got this on redbox earlier to check it out tonight, never played a fallout game but have heard good things.
I installed it last night, and if memory serves me right (probably not), I recall something like 28 gigs to install the game.
FYI, the graphics on Fallout 4 are not cutting edge. This game has been in production for 5 years I believe. So, you might be surprised by how well it runs on your outdated system. Steam has refund policy now. You can play for a few hours and if you dont like it, you can ask for full refund. Might want to take a look into it to see if your system can handle it.
You don't need a bleeding edge PC to match console's graphical quality. A low to mid range graphics card (about $150) is enough to match or exceed the graphical quality of a PS4 or Xbox One and a $190 one is enough to run circles around the consoles.
Both are great games. Depends on which setting/environment you prefer. I got this today and have been playing for last 3 hours. Enjoying it. I am a Boston native so looking to explore the city.
I never could get as into witcher like I do for fallout. there's a full immersion happening when I'm wondering the wasteland. Kinda different styles though, and witcher definitely isn't a bad choice.
Witcher has a better storyline and characters. Fallout is a more immersive experience. That's just my opinion, though. I prefer Fallout, but it's very close
Cool game. Never played any of the earlier versions so I feel a little lost. If been wandering around picking up everything but now I'm loaded down. Where or how do I store the stuff I don't want to carry so I can come back for it later and craft with it etc?
