Was he in a slump from everywhere on the floor? I know he was red hot from 3 when we first got him and then he cooled off considerably, but I thought he was almost always pretty reliable when it came to finishing around the basket. So far this season, he can't do anything right out there.
Brewer would have at least 3 fastbreak finishes per game last year. He was elite in that category. Their haven't been as many opportunities for that so he's forcing bad shots in the half court. He's always trying way too hard to get steals gambling on every other defensive possession.
I think we have to keep the faith because his energy is great, but his decision making is so bad it almost makes me want to cry
He's going one on three or four on the break lol. It's comical to watch actually, dude looks like Tyrone Bigums on Red Balls.
His energy was probably the biggest reason they won Gm 1 against the Lakers, and that win kind of set the tone for the rest of the series.
Hes playing poorly Forsure but I'm def not willing to substitute brew for kj at this point in time. What I saw of kj in the preseason was not very good. He makes highlight plays the ones that get the fans attention but as far as what a team really needs Which is consistency, he is not even close yet. His potential is nice but not on a contender like the rockets. We don't have time this year for him dekker or Harrell tbh. Just to young and raw.
