Been going on for the past 3 days or so and Advil/Tylenol and Bayer havent worked at all.

Besides a sweedish massage, whats the best way to get rid of this aggrivating pain that wont seem to go away?

Date only one girl....it helps the "Looking over the shoulder every second" problem...which is probably related to your pain.

Why do you have a pain in your neck?

    Is it your sleeping position?

Sometimes I wake up with an out of whack neck because I slept in a bad position. I will have problems turning my head and will have pain. I don't really treat it other than to give it a few days to go away.

try heat. might be the cheapest, at least. You can get these things that look like neck pillows that are filled with some substance that retains heat. You just put it in the microwave then use it as a neck pillow. Works for me when I get a pinched nerve.

of course, this assumes you don't have a hot tub available.

I think you can get them a Walgreens.

I have one that looks different than this...bigger...but this will give you the idea

Go see a doctor before you drop dead asking us for help. :)
Seriously, there's no telling what could be causing that pain... could be something as severe as nerve damage or a herniated disc (I know about these... oy). If it's persistent for days, and I had insurance, I know I'm taking myself to the doc!

Probably just a knot. Long, hot shower, frozen peas, that should be enough.

If you're not afraid of needles, you should try acupuncture. My mom works for an acupuncture doctor, and people with neck problems go there all the time.

    I'll third that!!!

Also, if it's muscle pain use heat. If it's nerve associated use cold.

and Dr. o'dunk is right, go see a Dr. o'medicine or Dr. o'chiropractic before you kill yourself with showers and frozen peas.;)

Gotta go, ROTJ is coming on (in my VCR)!
