Guessing that's coming from him being timid again and not wanting to shoot.

Hilarious exchange between two Lin nuthuggers during the game. Had me rolling for a couple mins:

Lin Nuthugger #1: Hawes is terrible. Absolute garbage.

Lin Nuthugger #2: I guess that is why he has bounced around the league.

Sorry guys. Will have to wait for the 15-20 game (as pointed out earlier) so that we can all be "proven wrong".

On the bright side, I did notice Lin bring the ball over the half line a couple of times so I would say.... "he done some leading"!!!!!!!

    RIP Jeremy Lin.

Coach lost confidence in him in just four games. Jeremy Lamb will be the sixth man going forward.

Minimum contract and bounce around the league, from now on it is Jeremy Lin's fate. And he has nobody to blame but himself.

Jeremy Lamb led the bench in scoring

Jeremy Lin led the bench in turnovers

    Lamb > Lin

Preseason MVP and Lin fans had their hopes high

Regular season 8th and 9th man on one of the worst teams in the pathetic Leastern Conference.

    In before Clifford is racist

You can safely change the "the bench" to "both teams" for Lin's statement.

    Yet another "done some leading."

    Go Jeremy!

    Lamb

I know this is a naive post to put in a Lin-bashing/defending thread,
but it doesn't necessarily have to be a Lin vs. Lamb thing. They don't even play the same position.

Lin/Lamb could end up being a nice 2nd unit backcourt for the Bobcats this season.

With MKG out with injury, Lamb is pushing for the starting job.

Currently they have PJ in the starting lineup at the SF but that guy is a dud when it comes to offense. Clifford has him there to play defense....ala Sefolosha role.

But once PJ becomes a huge liability and if Lamb continues to impress, Clifford will have to think hard about handing Lamb the starting role. He might hesitate though if the second unit is performing well. He might not want to break the continuity.

As for your Lin vs Lamb thing...it is never Lin vs Anyone thing. It is just Lin vs Lin thing. As ivanny2000 posted earlier, he has no one to blame but himself for the situation he is in right now.

I said it earlier, and will say it again, Hornet's second unit generally moves the ball well. If Lin plays under control with the second unit, he can make a solid contribution. For that unit to be successful though, the offense will have to go through Lamb.

Jeremy Lamb is playing great. I love watching former Rockets and hoping that they succeed...Lin, Lamb, Scola, Lowry, etc.. Watch out for Charlotte this year. Let's see if Lamb can continue his hot shooting streak against San Antonio on Saturday. With him and Jefferson it was like Kobe-Shaq tonight. Lin played okay. If you watched the game his 2 3-point shots missed by like an inch. The team didn't need him tonight though. He'll play better against SA, he always seems to.

PJ is in there for defense and conveniently wear down the starting SG. Lamb is clearly better on offense, and I assume will be picking up more minutes late in the game if he keeps up his shooting. His only liability is pretty crappy D, below Lin level.

Kemba is doing better than I remembered him doing, though. Getting assists and not taking as many stupid shots. He could move up from the worst starting PG in the league this year.

Lin has the backup PG minutes locked up, and extra minutes only if Clifford plays small ball. It will be interesting to see how often that happens this year.

This has been a pleasant surprise. He used to be a senseless chucker. Let's see if he keeps it up.

This is a Jeremy Lin thread for a professional basketball player on a basketball message board and you spend all your time posting about a message board poster named tinman. 60% of your posts on this board are about tinman. Kind of f'ed up even for a LOF. Shouldn't you be spending your time berating NBA writers about superstar in waiting Jeremy Lin and how Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb are depriving the world of Linsanity?

Through 5 games Kemba is shooting 38% from the field and 31% from three...that's almost exactly where he was at for last season's stats...so, no change. Who's been a disappointment somewhat though is Batum...38% from the field, 30% from three, 2 to 1 assist to to ratio. Lin is shooting 94% from the line but is shooting only 37% from the field and 39% from three.

Kemba has never shot well, but taking fewer crappy shots is a huge improvement for him.

Justguy and I are saying that Kemba is taking his shots within the flow of the game and actually looking for his teammates. His FG% might be the same but he has not been a mindless chucker. As for Batum, there is a reason Portland let him ago. He is as inconssitent as they come.
