Every day - my beard is so thick that I'm never truly clean shaven. I use an electric (which sucks for everday shaving) but once I tried using a regular razor for a week and saw no improvement. No point in making the extra effort for a losing cause. Shaving my neck is the worst part. That's where I get alot of ingrown hairs.
Every 4-5 days. Basically, whenever it starts to get itchy. I hate shaving. I still use my old Gilette Sensor.
Twice a week. I shave Monday morning which is good enough to get me through Tuesday. I shave Wednesday morning which gets me through Thursday. Then, I just use <i>Casual Friday</i> as an excuse to not shave on Fridays. As for the weekends, who cares? Another thing is I cannot shave "against the grain" or I'll start bleeding profusely. I have really coarse facial hair so it just hurts like hell. Shaving is one of my least favorite things in life.
That's my exact schedule, although I sometimes replace a Wednesday shave with a Thursday shave. What throws me off is if I have a gig on Saturday that I have to shave for. Then I shave on the following Tuesday and look like Clint Eastwood for the rest of the week.
I have always had sensitive skin and at my old job, I would shave every other day. When I got the job that I have now back in 2000, I started shaving every day. It killed my face for awhile, but it (my face, that is) has finally gotten used to it. Now, I will shave every morning except on Fridays and Saturdays. When Sundays come, I have an almost full beard as that **** grows fast! As for my head, I shave it once a week, now on Monday nights, and I use a razor after going through it with clippers. I think I use Edge gel and a Gillette brand razor, lol. Hell, I think I have used that stuff forever. I am very bad about going out to buy refills, but yes, Surf is exactly right as that stuff is ridiculously overpriced. Also, I will agree with several others in the fact that shaving is the worst thing I have to do. The funny thing is as a kid, you always look forward to shaving because you think it is cool and will be fun. Yet, after you realize that you have to do it for the rest of your life, then reality sets in and you realize that it sucks.
Ima, just grow a beard. I shave every 3 or 4 days, to go for that Miami Vice look. My company doesn't give me any trouble. I will not tolerate paying $2/blade. I use an old-school safety razor and pay 25 cents a blade. Then again, I shave rarely and don't have sensitive skin.
Shave every other day for the past 2 years... used to shave everyday back in the days while having a girlfriend... sigh.
Eh, I tried that. It came in red and I ended up looking like Paul Bunyon. It also itched like a mother when I slept. I sleep on my side.
I used to shave every other day as I have sensitive skin as well, however, since I moved to Albuqueque, I can shave everyday...No weekends though... To quote queer eye guy: "shave after showering"...
i shave as rarely as possible. i hate shaving with a passion. when i do cut the hair off my face i am generally using a beard trimmer with no guard. plus i look better with some scruff on my face.
Mach 3 is the only razor I can use and Braun is the only electric shaver I can use (the only one that works). I dropped my Braun on the floor and broke it, I need to buy a new one. They work great and there is no burn at all, because the razor never touches your face.
About 3 times a week, on average. I have sensitive skin too, and I used to be where I could only do it a couple times a week, but I remember one of these shaving threads from a while back someone recommended the shower mirror that doesn't fog up. So I threw away the gel/cream (which never did much for me) and started shaving in the shower. It seemed to work much better, so I stuck with that. Still can't shave every day, though. I use Mach 3.
you won't beleive this, I was going to post one thread excatly like this!!!! my god!! excatly!!!! ok, I shave about twice per week, and I often wonded myself too. by the way, this might off topic, but do you actually SHAVE like "american wedding"? by the way, no girl have replied this one yet?
