Food sold door-to-door are not under health authorities' regulations, right? For all we know, they can add whatever nasty additives or chemicals to make them taste good......
my dad had a big freezer and filled it once with the assorted meat/fish packages. It was around February of my Sr yr in HS, and he told me not to eat much, because he wanted to save it for the summer when my older brothers and sisters got home from college. then one day we lost power, and he was freaking out about losing the equivalent to half a side of beef. There was literally hundreds of steaks down there. The power was restored with no harm done, but after that scare he gave my sister and I the green light to eat as much as we wanted. jack pot. I started eating steak for breakfast, every day! Didn't have to be to school 'till 11am, too, so had plenty of time to digest it and all...no sweat... I couldn't do that now, but as a "growing boy," I was in heaven.
it's funny you mention that... about a month ago, i switched from direct tv to comcast cable. the guys did some drilling upstairs and in the process unplugged the freezer. omaha hamburgers, filets, etc all went bad. what a waste.
