The 2nd half of the game is re airing now on Root sports. for those that missed it.

 

Great game....for me the start of the season is tonight!!!!

 

good game. feel a bit relieved they didnt dig a 0-4 hole.

came here late since on mnf the colts refused to die for a long time. a bit surprised this board isnt as heated and cheerful as i thought it might be.

anyway, a good night for htown. i should sleep well tonight...

 

This sequence of Bev three taking the lead and Brewer stealing the ball is nice!

 

Yes we finally got a win. Great freaking game all around, especially from Harden, Howard and Lawson.

 

Just wanted to throw this out there that we got 18 steals and only won by 5.

They out-rebounded us 55 to 34

14 offensive to 7

How did Dwight only get 8 rebounds in 34 minutes?

 

It's the same story as before, Dwight has to cover up for wings who can't keep their men in front and he's out of position for the rebound.

 

Clutchfans is 96% knee jerkers and 3% sensible fans/posters/followers

 

that was a great win against one of our biggest rivals for the top seeds. just can't help being worried about our offense in the last 3 minutes. ISO harden all the way as usual.. its gonna kill us from time to time

 

GSW is really good this year.

 

Their two best power forwards were hurt.

 

What's the other 1%. I HAVE TO KNOW.

Great win tonight, really feels good. Very happy that harden shot at an acceptable rate tonight. Nice to see that again.

 

Great win. Glad to see Harden finally get his shot going.

But we have to see more of him off the ball & let Ty create some offense.

Harden & Ty attacking the rim is/should be unstoppable.

 

We really need Dmo to get back. This 4 smalls and one big lineup isn't gonna fly. I like Harrells energy but he' has some rookie issues, and Jones has general BBIQ issues.

Still, great win. Lawson starting to look more comfortable. Hopefully all these chicken littles will chillax now, it's a long season.

I would of liked to see the rockets do more with their last 2 possessions cause all they got was 2 harden isos for 24 seconds. I guess this has been a factor since harden joined the rockets.

 

Just finished watching the game!!! Finally a WIN! Good defensive effort and the team looked a little less out of sync. Can't wait for this team to build chemistry. Also their shooting (as a team) has to come around at some point!!

ON A SIDE NOTE: Did I see Chuck Hayes on the Rockets Bench? When did we sign him?

 

they weren't missing that many shots, they were turning it over instead, and our bench couldnt get a rebound to save its life

 

Nice capper with Dwight making two foul shots to seal the game.

 

You guys are acting like people were saying the Rockets will never win again, lol. Everyone agrees the Rockets will be a 50 win team but championship teams don't lose 3 games to start the season by 20. How hard is that to understand. We are gonna win we have lots of talent but our system sucks and it's holding us back. At some point we are going to have to be coached just as well as the other team.
