For the poor souls who didn't see the last two games (me).... I want to know what it is about Hakeem that has changed. I thought the most impressive statistic in the box score was Hakeem's 1 turnover. Over the past year or two I think that the biggest obstacle for him to overcome was his lack of explosiveness. I have seen him miss dunks, get blocked from every direction (by the likes of Ostertag)and lose his footing in the post too many times. Was it all mental/lack of fock-ass? Did he suddenly get back into the game and now he can JUMP AGAIN????????????
Doc Rob, He dunked 2 times tonight. Yes, I guess he's getting back his legs. While I can't compare this Dream to the Dream in the prime, he is absolutely back! He's making faster moves; he's passing more accurately; he blocks or changes opponents' shots; he hustles for loose balls; he steals ...... (the list goes on and on and on) The best thing is he's getting involved in the game AGAIN. He is having fun playing. Man, I'm crying! ------------------
His activity and hustle is back. He has energy on the court. Hakeem is back. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
With Detroit up tomorrow he should be able to make it three in a row. I'll try not to freak out and pass any judgments until Portland on the 26th.
hehehe... ------------------ Rudy T: "Enough has been said. I've got a task to do here, and that's to try and get us into the playoffs, and that's what I'm going to focus on."
He's moving like he's 35 again He's fast again. He pivots well and his hands are loose. Where the heck did this guy come from? I didn't know we had one of those. Oh yeah... Dream is back. And Yes, I'm eating crow. It tastes good right now. ------------------
