This on McHale Lawson didn't just forget how to play the game he isn't bricking 30 three pointers like Harden he is getting horribly misused.

I think he already had one too many..

Seriously though, the thing that had me worried before was that he is in the same mold as Harden. Party animals, always drinking and not 100% invested in basketball. I'm seriously thinking like I initially thought, which is that if you count on Harden and Ty to be your best players then you're not going to win.

The trade was worth the gamble. It has obviously failed miserably, but I don't think you can't fault the move.

You can't lose a trade not even 15% through a season. The trade will be won/lost in the playoffs. If we don't make it at all or lose early, it would not be considered a win.

Thankfully, Morey orchestrated the trade in such a way that it was fairly low risk. We didn't give up anything of notice and Lawson will be gone next year.

Nah, Morey did the right thing without a doubt. It just sucks that Lawson has come in here and played like ass and pissed off Howard already and really doesn't give a damn on defense.

Too early to make absolute statements. I am serious. At least 25 games required to see if Lawson's fit is a complete fail. Anyway so far it has been a disaster. So dissapointed.

I agree on time to implement... Especially a new guard, but what we've seen so far has been an absolute cluster **** (okay 2 good games....... Or was it 1, honestly atm it doesn't matter it has been ****).

PS can I get my vote back :)

Josh Smith had more of an impact in his first game against Memphis than Lawson has had all year. Not comparable.

Lawson does look like he has lost a step. He isn't just blowing by people like he has in the past. But another big problem with him is that our players don't know how to "follow" him when he drives and be in position for him to dump it off to them, CATCH the ball and finish strong...ala Faried. Our team has no concept of crashing the offensive boards either, or to fill the lane especially near the free throw line for long rebounds after 3pt shots. Teams will stop trying to run out on you when you are crashing the boards and scoring on them.

Did Denver do an addition by subtraction?

I actually gave him more than that... Shoot man, looking back at those games compared to Lawson's performance so far... It makes Smith look like a HOF (I mean in comparison)... And no I'm not really looking at the stats I'm just pretending it was better, you know to at least hope something has been positive with new players joining this team.
