You Houstonians get a lot of sun, so perhaps you have some advice on this...when I was in Cuba, I went to the beach and since I am too lazy to put on sun blocker (I'm a rather dark skin type, and I was already quite tanned), I got a little sunburned in the face (forehead/nose), not really a bad burn, it just seemed a little dry and tense. Guess I underestimated the Caribbean sun a little bit.

Anyway, now the skin on my face is kind of peeling, which looks pretty weird...it doesn't hurt or something, it's just that it looks stupid...

Anyway, my question is...can you just go and sunbath again directly after the skin has peeled or do you have to wait like a week or so, until there is kind of a new protective layer or something? I was planning to do a daytrip (by plane) to the beaches of Los Roques the day after tomorrow...

Also, does anyone have advice regarding some kind of after sun creme or some **** like that?

    Thanks...

    Aloe.

The skin around my nose has been really dry. I wonder what's up with that. I use lotion on it but I dont know if that's a good idea.

Just use sunblock if you go out again. High SPF. And use the aloe to make the peeling less evident.

You're okay. Just use sunblock (high SPF - at least 15) before hand. You really should use Sunblock all the time. Melanoma is not funny.
