He doesn't have the work ethic of Curry.

Plain and simple. He is not as focussed on basketball as curry. Harden has other distractions

Brewer was 1-3 from 3 while Ariza was 1-7 and Harden 2-12 so was the Denver idea to leave Ariza and Harden open? I think you didn't watch the game.

Denver is supposed to be a team in the running for 1st pick.
    This is inexcusable.
The players took them way too lightly but to lose by 20 in the home opener?
They better wake up.. Have Lawson off the bench. A backcourt of Lawson Harden puts too much pressure for the bigs to cover in defence.

Explain me how he went from bench player to MVP candidate without work ethic?

I'm more embarrassed by the ridiculous posts some have made more than the Rockets loss.

James harden has no worth ethic and isn't on the level of curry? ****ing moronic and based off of nothing but anger from 1 loss. Gtfo.

We don't know how the game will go. How many of you watched the Warriors season opener? Curry lit up the place in the first quarter but he was pretty cold from then on and the rest of the team was not flash at all. I am cautiously optimistic.

    agreed.

When Harden said that he was going to work off the ball more I was really excited. I think this was going to take his game into the stratosphere. He looks like the same Harden; Standing after the ball is passed. disappointing.

DeMo is on his way..

I'll put it in the perspective that they're starting frontcourt was not playing in this game so obviously that we get out rebound. Long season to go... Up and downs.. Will happen.. Let's see where there at after the Allstar break.

    Rockets - Nuggets

    =

    Texans - Chiefs

    Horrible Seasons Openers

Rockets getting 6th seed and/or losing 1st Round would be debacle-type equivalent.

How the fack do you get smoked by 20 at home to a team that's not even supposed to make the playoffs this season and not expect people to complain. This was an embarrassing showing and fans have a right to call out their team for a complete lack of hustle and chucking bricks and getting lit up by all night on defense, and we shouldn't complain? Absolutely no excuse for this. Harden was just awful on both ends of the floor, he's supposed to be the leader of the team. Hopefully this was just a bad night for the entire team and not they can shake it off, but no doubt they should be criticized for this clown-fest we witnessed tonight.

I know what the Rockets need to do.

    THEY NEED TO PLAY HARDER.

MVP championship level players don't let their teams (who are defending Western Conference Finalists) lose by 20 at home to a lottery team on opening night while shooting 28% from the field...

Stop making **** up. You have to run some off ball plays for him, he was efficient and productive with Durant and Westbrook, who do you think was dominating the ball there, not beard! Ty wasn't being aggressive tonight, he was passive trying to get his ice cold teammates involved.

    1) You have no idea how much time or work any basketball player puts in the gym. You literally have your Twitter account and that's it.

    2) Why does it matter him vs. Curry or Westbrook or whoever? Harden's obviously an elite player. He's not the problem. Some of you idiots just jump off the ledge whenever he has a bad game and talk about his "dedication for the game" or his "questionable work ethic"

It's an ongoing cycle with y'all

Are you implying those 3's weren't contested, because a lot of them were.

McHale - we didn't play hard enough, we didn't play tough enough, we didn't play smart enough

Harrell shot 100% tonight. If we gave the ball to Harrell and let him take the majority of the shots, we would've won.
