Why was he playing, that is on the head coach. Miami took the receivers and the running back in the second half. Not smart, especially if he is not 100 percent.
Sad but I don't think it really matters at this point... We need to look towards the future anyway, and this may force our hand. Its been a joy watching Arian the past 5-6 years and I hope he can return to at least part of the player he was but I think the old Foster is gone for good.
The injury prone label for Foster is at least a wee bit inapt IMO. With his amount of mileage the vast, vast majority of backs are going to get significantly dinged up or become ineffective. It's just the position. He's had a great career and been a lot of fun to watch, hope he can come back from this whether it's here or another team. I'm sure the Colts will be happy to give him a fat deal.
great career...and a terrific competitor. Unfortunately, this being a contract year...he desperately wanting to play. This had nothing to do with coaching...but rather, Foster was trying to build his own resume...imho...I feel for the guy, and he gave this city a great RB performance whenever he was on the field. Being undrafted, a guy like him made it...and proved his doubter wrong. Unfortunately, in the NFL...the Achilles tear is a death sentence...especially for a running back. Thanks for the memories Foster...
Foster's career seems done. Way sadder than the game, which is hard to imagine. He'll be 30 next year. 1400 rushing attempts. That's like getting hit by 1600 Fiats. So sad. Arian deserves a statute. Really perfected all areas of his game.
Dude always gets mysteriously injured when the team is playing awful and is pretty much done for the season. I think dude's body can't stand being on a horrible team.

He'd be pretty much the first RB to ever fully recover from an Achilles tear, and if he does, he'll be playing somewhere else by then.
Yet Miami kept their starting QB in the game until 4 minutes was left, even with a game coming up Thursday. Why was that?
Coach butthole-chin needs to be fired tomorrow. Absolutely no excuse for having Foster in the game at that point.
