CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK CHUCK! I would honestly be okay going into the season with what we have and adding Chuck, but Morey is smarter than I am... so I'll wait with cautious optimism. Terrence is who keeps coming up as a trade possibility and I am one who wants to keep him. (not because he was at Kentucky, but because he has shown some really great games when healthy)
Unless Cousins or Love go on the block, don't know who else it could be. Can't see Morey's "big move" being Taj Gibson. I'd rather keep TJones.
I don't think the Texans are targeting a PF. I think they stick with Jones at least until DMo gets back. If Harrell looks good enough to take over the backup PF duties, then they can think about trading Jones.
I think I know your insider. I was on the phone with him earlier but I couldn't get the seats I wanted so I hung up.
Right now , the best move is no move . We need to see what DMO looks like when he comes back . What is important is how we are playing in april, may, june not at the beginning of the season. Sure seeding matters, but not as much as how you play when it counts. The potential of this squad when healthy is too great to make a move at this point. I understand possibly using Dekker or Harrell, but those guys could have great value as soon as next year and while we are certainly in win now mode, the future should be kept in mind.
When I first got into soccer in 2014, I was wondering who let that ****** onto the pitch. But it turns out those unis make him look fat. The effect is worse for Akinfenwa.
This is not Rocketgrin science. Common sense should tell you that our current PF rotation is not going to cut it if the goal is to win a championship. Spurs, Warriors, Clippers.....they are all going to steamroll over the Rockets JV PF lineup. Rockets should be looking to make a trade to get a real PF.
