I had visit a Yao Ming's fan site and the members there had also translated the chat. Here is the portion that I like. (I think it haven't been translated here yet)
The only thing that jumps out at me with all his interviews is the fact that he's always TIRED. How the hell are we going to win the Championship when our big man is perpetually tired. Can we just kidnap him from China already or just payoff the Chinese government?
Completely out. At first I'm shocked that Yao said this because it doesn't seems like the Yao that I known. I checked the Chinese version and found out that the translation is completely out. Below is what he actually said: "If I have to say, I'll say that I'm also qualify for the award. But they made it to the playoff. From thiis perspective, I'm a little jealous of him(Refer to Amare). But right now I think it is more important to concentrate on the coming match rather than pondering on why I miss the award."
jli, thanks for finishing it. I think this will be the first and last time to do any translation. It took me 2 hours for 3/4 of it and I got a terrible headache afterward.
Thanks a lot for the translations, guys. I know it takes a lot of time and energy to do it. All of us in here are very grateful!
almost every interview w/ yao he always mentions that he is tired. i sure hope he is not too 'shy' to let both the chinese and rockets know that he is tired. it sure doesn't sound good when its still the 'off season' the guy is already tired.
