Terrence Jones can not be a starter on a championship caliber team.

Jones should be a energy guy off the bench seriously.

Depends on the play of Harrell and if we can upgrade that Jushua Smith guy at the end of our bench.

Jones can't hang with the big boys out west. He'll give you good stats as a starter against the bottom tier west teams and East teams and that's good and all but just not in the big picture when the playoffs begin. Hopefully Dmo can come back soon since he's proven he can score on the big boys. Tjones off the bench works better against the smaller bench frontlines.

As has been mentioned several times, Jones is the ultimate front runner.

Beats up on crappy teams, looks terrible against good ones.

Forgive me for asking but what exactly does he do really well? Please don't say finish at the rim, defend, create, handle, pass or shoot.

He's a decent dribbler for a big man and he can jump really high and make open dunks sometimes. He can also get some blocks in help defense.

The point i was trying to make what it wasnt for a lack of talent that he sucks. Its because he has no heart. Just like a couple others stated he plays well against the non-elite and not well against the elite. I think he has enough athleticism to be a good player. He jumps well. He is a good help defender at times. I think he has above average handles and vision for a 4.

Just like after he was benched in the playoffs, he just looks better off the bench. Once DMo gets back healthy, Jones will go back to the bench and IMO it'll make him look a lot better.

Eh, dude had an almost freaking amazing 1h put back. A few plays that, had the recipient been on the same page great passes. A few completed great passes, several nice blocks happens to be what 23 and all ya'll do is **** on the guy.

Pretty sure he's not expected to be the guy that dominates the best of the opposing teams competition. That's James Hardens job.

He managed pretty well last season against Aldridge, Jordan and Griffin, Noah and Gasol, Farried, Anthony Davis, etc...

No one can stop an Aldridge, Griffin, Davis or Cousins but Dmo makes them work on the defensive end with his offense.

This is exactly it. There is a good article online somewhere splitting Jones stats when between playoff teams and non. Playoff teams play him differently, as in they don't respect his pump fake.

Farried and Noah aren't like the others. Did he stop LMA from scoring? No.
    So?
Noone can stop players like LMA or at least the players who can severely limit them are counted on one hand.

Btw LMA is the best big to take advantage of bullyball in all the league so it's no surprising at all that he's been able to score on T.Jones.

As much as this may be an attempt at trolling ... you could also be 100 % correct . Now it would be complete luck , but hey who really knows. I definitely think DMO looks smaller now than he did when he was at his best Last January. His saving grace may be that he is an excellent shooter and will still be able to contribute in that way. Also hopefully he wont have to go up against PF's.... Although who knows , DMO's pt/rehab from surgery could improve his core strength and make him overall better. At this point now one knows what DMO will be health wise... However, he is an incredibly intelligent player who at the very least wont make mental errors and can play within the flow of the game better than any other PF we have right now.
