This dude has some skills. Better than most of the garbage I was hearing the past few years. The problem is that the stuff he does on his albums isn't mainstream hip-hop. Like that crazy video for F.A.S.T. Ride (I love the use of the drums in this and also how it ends) or the almost (?) melodic Til It's Gone. But he's been pretty much non-mainstream hip-hop outside of the Trunk Muzik stuff. I still love his music, though, and he's probably one of my favorite rappers of the past few years.

I was a Big Fan, but he is sorta stepping away from the Rap Game(slightly).
I appreciate the music he makes he is definitely not a bad artist. I bought Love Story it was a solid album, but it wasnt what I was expecting.(I wanted another Trunk Musik Returns).

IDK I feel Em's Label gots him all jumbled up and confused on what he should be doing, cause the dude can Rap his ass off when given the right production/direction.

Yeah, love story was solid but trunk muzik returns was my favorite body of work. Supposedly he's got another mixtape planned, his next album and a collaboration with big krit. His freestyles over punk Floyd, led zeplin and that track thank you shows not only that he can still rap but that he's still great at it

No respect for him. My brother in law was playing with his band downstairs at Fitz a few months back while Yelawolf and his guys were playing upstairs. Threatened to stop his show and walk off stage if he heard one peep from downstairs. **** him

I kinda liked it. Reminds me of a song you'd hear in True Detective Season 2.. had that vibe.

    This album is really good.

Random fact. He sang the hook to Slim Thugs - "I RUN"

"I run the streets all night n day......."

Most people wouldn't want to be reminded of having watched that.
