To the best of my knowledge he hasn't made any accusations of racism in the NBA; in fact, he has said that while he encountered it in college, he hasn't encountered racism in the NBA.

He's talked about how he gets stopped by the security guards at arenas while they let his teammates get a pass, how he's been underestimated by players and crowds, etc. I don't have time to find the links, but I've read it recently. As I said, it's not outright vocal accusation. A little passive aggressive for my taste, but to each his own.

And I'm not saying he should shut up and take his lumps. I'd just rather see him channel that "rage" and kick some ass.

The guy isn't even in the same conference as the Rockets, and aren't likely to make the playoffs (and even if they scrape in, they will be 1st round fodders for the Cavs, Hawks, Heat or some other team).

I treat Lin like I treat CJ Anderson. Sure, if he gets back to prime form it'd be fun to watch, but I know its never going to happen. **** CJ Anderson, ruined my RB core for my fantasy team.
I will undoubtedly pickup or draft Lin as a late stash. Maybe this is the year I get decent production out of him.

LOFs won't be happy until J. Lin is both the starting and back-up point guard :(:eek:.

"It was very difficult for various reasons. In Houston, they kind of brought me in and didn't know they were going to get James (Harden). Me and James are both ball-dominant pick-and-roll players," he said. "And L.A. was just a different system and they were going in a different direction in general." - Jeremy Lin

    LOL!

Just like his nuthuggers, the bum does not get it.

"Me and James are both ball-dominant pick and roll players......"

    No.

    That is like DMo saying,

"Me and Hakeem are both rebounders...."

James Harden has led his team to the playoffs and was a MVP candidate.

You, OTOH, lost your starting spots....

    ...to unknowns at the time.....

    ....in back-to-back years.....

    ...on two separate teams.

    Know your place, bum.

    Me and James..... he says....

the hornets do have nice jerseys.

the question is whether Lin fans know where Charlotte is.

I know they can't find Houston on a map, this is like finding the arc of the covenant for them.

Does Jeremy have more obnoxious fans than others(derogatory name calling as Lin fans)

    Check

Do some of this CF keyboard warriors overreact in terms of TRUTH? Check and Yes

The truth is not enough South American players, European players and Asian players make it to the NBA not to mention Asian Americans.

People are still starving somewhere in the world, war is being waged somewhere else. That is the TRUTH.

If someone offended Clutch or ClutchCity that dude is out of the system by the time and you should not worry about that

Looks like he's playing a shooting guard roll this year. Points are up and assists are down. He's also turning the ball over less. He should have been born to be 3 inches taller, he'd be a pretty solid 2.

Yeah, I was liking Lin up until the turnovers and then the bible quotes when we tried to recruit Carmelo Anthony. Those two severed any bonds. It was fun his first year in Houston though. All offense was just his style. Say what you will about Lin fans and completely ignoring the team he plays for, but he was fun for a little while. Then the LOFs ruined the fun.

At least Lin didn't completely burn bridges when he left like Parsons. Lin > Parsons

Lin's passive aggressive comments time and again is part of what feeds into his fanbase. We all know Lin fans are dumb, delusional and frankly do not know much about basketball so when Lin puts himself in the same sentence as James freakin Harden, the Lin idiots take that to the bank thinking that Lin was marginalized because of Harden who was jealous of Lin. LOL.

Newsflash: James Harden is a multiple all star, multiple ALL NBA first team, gold medalist, MVP runners up, led his team to the WCF. Lin is a min wage back up in one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference having previously lost his place to Patrick Beverley, Ronnie Price, Jordan Clarkson etc. and was instrumental in his last team going to the lottery.

Let that sink in before comparing yourself with James Harden

Jeremy Lin is more popular than the rockets. This thread has more views than just a handful of threads on the GARM

i thought this was interesting. (comment on espn about lin)

Ill Khalil Abdullah That is incorrect. After the ASG when Kobe was gone Lin started playing fantastic while using the PNR, and the Lakers were winnning games. Byron Scott realized they would have trouble tanking, so he told the media he did not like PNR and he no longer allowed PNR plays. Hell, the day Kobe got injured Lin was made DNP without any explanation. The message was clear. "We are tanking. Don't try to change things."

Byron Scott said the Lakers will shoot more 3s this year. Last year was not about making Lin look bad or anything like it. Scott was under orders to tank. Don't shoot 3s, don't do PnR, start Robert Sacre, let Kobe get his scoring milestone.
