No. The role of backup pointguard in the league requires more scoring and playmaking abillity. He is not perfect at all because this way at all times one of Lawson and Harden has to be on the court during all 82 games of regular season. No matter injuries, fatigue etc etc and their minutes will be a lot still. Harden was no.1 and Lawson was top 10 in minutes last season alr.
If he sucks and is ineffective most of the year, I might consider it at the deadline. Thankfully though if I am Morey I don't draw too many conclusions from preseason action.
Y'all bois be trippin mayne bev be da illest I ain't braggin on em and what not and not blowin smoke fo da sake of smoke blowin man yeardme, yeardme? Bev part dis team is and he show up to dem big games and ain't shook by dem big moments mane remember da cava game? Boi was like **** Lebron he can catch one
Everybody needs to chill out, lite a bowl, and let's see what happens when the season actually starts If yall are b****ing about having Ty Lawson and Beverly coming off the bench, then idk how morey can please you motha ****as
If the deal is good, I'd trade James Harden. But, I wouldn't be looking to trade Beverley. I'd trade him if it was required to get the player I wanted and if it's worth the exchange.
If it meant Durant or Melo or Millsap/Horford then yes otherwise just no. This team is about as complete as you can get in the NBA. Solid starting five and good depth at all positions. As others said Bev like Jones and Brewer are not what you'd want as a starter but off the bench these guys are great. Calm the F down people we are damn lucky having a roster this good.
ONLY for a player who is an indisputable NBA starting power forward for at least this year and the next two. There's no other upgrade that justifies downgrading the fairly important backup PG spot.
