Apparently the Kardashian's got Harden to stop squatting heavy weight. Now he's into this emerging power bottom yoga fad. It's supposed to strengthen your core and make you more explosive, but I think it's just the Kardashian's trying to create and market another fad they can make money off/gain visibility from. Supposedly Jenner swore by it when he was training for the Olympics.

HA! First off I'm over 30 and secondly I hate reality TV. I also hate hipsters and society snobs. I try not to judge people by their taste in things because well, I'm an adult and have my own problems and tastes. People like what they ****ing like. You can't force kids to get into politics. Yes you can shame people's interests. "Progressive" types do it all the time about social and entertainment matters. (Ex: "liberal" vs "conservative" news shows.) Its like you can only encourage INTO viewing something, but can't actually discourage OUT of it. If something is "educational" people will tout its virtues. If something is trash, people will slam it. And it might even be judging the VIEWER's integrity and not the show itself's integrity Yes, the shaming might not be EFFECTIVE at changing people's taste. But there doesnt have to be a libertarian "people decide for themselves" approach. We can call out sleazy motives.

Might want to step outside of whatever particular cultural sphere y'all subscribe to and get some broader perspective.
Put another way - yes, as a friend you can try to help people see how watching the Kardashians is not a good use of time in any possible way - based on opportunity cost alone (ie doing anything remotely constructive.)
