A first round pick from the Rox isnt a solid asset at all why will Philly even do this? They can afford to wait 2 years for Embiid to heal up what if they trade him for a low first rounder and he becomes a superstar 2 years from now? LOL look at it from Philly's pov theyre a tanking team the main reason they got embiid is because they want to tank so they took an injured kid who wouldnt be able to play.

Man, that sucks. Feels like it might be over, his full potential will never be reached. Even if he does bounce back, that's a huge set back for someone who's never played NBA basketball.

The Hinkie tank job is looking like a disaster. A healthy rebuild is usually 3 years at the most. This thing might drag on for more than 5 years. Already spent multiple top 5 picks and team is nowhere near being competitive. How long before Philly fans turn?

Seems like I glanced at something recently where Hinkie said it was a 7-year job. If so, his tank job is really a con job.

Seven years? That better be one helluva team after seven years of fielding a Division One team.

Yes. It's seven years plan. Now we are entering year 4. So 3 more years.

3 years is a GREAT rebuild. I don't think OKC or the Warriors constructed their teams in 3.

With the way the league is (rich get richer), 5 years is average.

Andrew Bynum 2.0. He lacks discipline, and has no motivation to actually get on the court it seems.

In today's day and age, I don't see how its possible to not dig up some of this info pre-draft. People can pretend all they want, but if you dig hard enough, you figure out true character/tendencies.

    Great work, Hinkie...

That's too bad, kid's got all the talent to be the best center in the league in a few years. Hope he focuses sooner than later

    1) As a Kansas fan, it is a shame to see Embiid look like such an idiot.

    2) Hinkie's "plan" will go down as one of the all time great Ponzi schemes in professional sports history.

    it's depressing to read that.

watch him get it together and come back healthy.

the sixers will end up with an all star team.
