I hope they treat each one as attempted murder.

Probably a hipster throwing rocks at cars that aren't eco friendly.

I'm hoping they're only aiming at the cars with Cali and NY plates.

Austin was cool in the 80s. Now? It's Dallas with worse traffic.

I spent a lot of time living in Houston. Am in Dallas for work fairly regularly. Have lived in Austin for 4.5 years.

Austin is nothing like Dallas or Houston, with worse traffic.

maybe you were trying to be funny. If trying to be accurate, you are way off.

Mind you, I'm not saying Austin is better... or worse, just that it has been and remains a definitively different vibe.

I still think that lady should have saved McCauley and let Elijah Wood fall.

I've lived in all three cities. I disagree.

Austin, outside of the South Congress area and a few other select areas, is pretty close to Dallas or Houston. The "weird" areas of Austin are similar to Montrose/Midtown/Oak Lawn/Deep Ellum in Houston and Dallas. Nothing unique.

I spent a lot of time in Austin in the 90's and I've lived here now for almost 5 years. I used to think Dallas was snooty. Austin picked up that ball and ran faaaaaaar away with it. Makes me sad.

And the traffic is just terrible. I can't stand the drivers there either.

I'm not sure which is worse. Gulf freeway or 35 through downtown. I've had to commute on both for jobs... And both were just awful.

Reminds me of a couple weeks ago when I sat down at Kerbey Lane on S. Lamar and some little 19 year old hostess says to me with a very conceited look and tone "oh you live in Houston? It's really different there right?" I was like no honey. Austin and China are really different. Austin and Houston...not so much.
