Harden suffers right knee injury in preseason game

    Looks like a really really bad bruise to the outer thigh around and above the back of the knee.. Probably not a structural injury but bruises like that can take a while to heal if he hit with a lot of force.

    Looks very painful.

    I hope I'm wrong but I think It's a meniscus or acl. Reminded me of Westbrook's injury.

    only thing that scares me...Harden look pissed off and concerned, Morey and Rosas walked back to the locker room, and none of them have returned from the locker room yet.

    It's nothing like the Westbrooke injury. In that injury Westbrook was planting his leg and his weight was coming down when Bev put his body across the knee.

    In this case Harden was lifting his leg up, and it was the knee of the other player hitting Harden's muscle it appears. You can see that Harden's knee comes out because it doesn't have weight on it.

    Hard to tell with these things, but based on that and the reactions afterwards, I think it's just a really bad bruise and he's pissed because it's probably really painful and he knows it will likely mess up his pre-season and the chance for the team to gel early on.

    I am a natural raging pessimist. Let's hope it's just a bruise like they're saying. I am skeptical though.

    That Harden hasn't returned to the bench is worrying me despite the reports that it's just a bruised knee.
