Contrary to popular belief, The Rox do not need to make a blockbuster trade.. I makes zero sence to brake up a nucleus that has a winning record year. I figure that the Rocks need to sign one more frree agent. Here are a few I think would help. tell me what you think

Raja Bell - Athletic and a good back up to Pike. (When Rice go out with an injury)
Mark Bryant - a banger, we need a banger.
Tony Massenburg - see Mark Bryant
Alton Ford. Why not. Cannot be anyworse than Griff and Taylor. and Ford Might actually play defense.

P.S Get back up point guard out of you mind. I do not think JVG will sign one untill the 5-7 Mooch contract is up. ( 5-7 because he is 5 foot tall, 7 foot tall if you count the hair)

I like the Ford idea fine, but not much else.

Bell is OK, but we have plenty of guards, especially SGs.

Bryant is a even less talent version of Hill or Oakley or Trent--might as well take one of the latter, though I like Ford better because there is some upside.

Other guys I like include Demarr, S Jackson and Harvey--all bring good size/length, upside and athleticsm. Along with guys like Ford, I think we should target these young flyers who could emerge as long term quality back-ups or maybe even pan out starters under optimistic scenarios.

Terence Morris would be a better signing than either of the two.

Morris beats Ham in every single statistical category, aside from steals

Ellis is an aging veteran that brings virtually no playoff experience to the table, while showing a decline over the last couple of seasons.

If no one picks him up, Morris merits a look to bring in as 11 or 12th/ IL player.

Ohh and please don't sign Oakley, he's a useless sack who whines when he doesn't get playing time. He was a very good player, but not one worth wasting a roster spot on right now.
