    If you watch the ALL 22 of Mallett last week you would notice a couple of those passes to the dirt were potential interceptions if he would've thrown it on target. The Falcons deserve a lot of credit on defense. Those zones had a robber in the middle in field watching Mallett's eyes every down. We really needed our run game sunday.

    Not making any excuses for him but I expected him to struggle early on. He's inexperience and it's shows on tape. He'll get better but it takes time. His real problem besides accuracy is misunderstanding when he has time in the pocket. He wants to get the ball out as quick as possible but if he waits a second longer a receiver or a check down flashes open. He needs more game action it's evident.

    Yes, exactly…he gets the ball out unnecessarily early. The All-22 film shows that? Funny, I would have thought Bobby would have known since he claims otherwise.

    So we have accuracy issues and timing issues. Timing issues can be fixed…accuracy issues, Im not so sure about.

    The Colts were pretty coy about Luck.
    They denied a shoulder separation
    Then Hassleback was staying in Indy with an illness
    None of which was true

    If our defense cant step up its play under these circumstances, then we might as well aim for the #1 pick again
