Maxwell had no talent? I would say he had amazing talent and was athletic as hell, very gifted, but actually underachieved in my opinion because he saw himself as a shooter more than anything. Several people talked about this around 93-95 during games.

I can see where he's coming from with the crazy eyes, Vernon definitely had them. When I was in that mode, he would have that laugh and his eyes rolling a bit with this glazed look.

He could definitely shoot, it was just the "making them" that he sucked at.

Sometimes I had those crazy eyes after watching him shoot

But he was very athletic, and he took a lot of attitude toward Jordan when they played each other which I liked very much.

Max could play defense 1 million times better than Reggie...not that Reggie ever really tried playing defense..but still.

In my memory, Mad Max was a decent, pesky defender. At a minimum, a better defender than Reggie...

... but you tend to forget these things. I may be misremembering.

Also in my memory, Reggie Miller might be one of the most one-dimensional hall of fame players.. well, ever? Mind you, he was, especially for his era, REALLY GREAT at that one dimension. But he was "just" a 5 time all star, never made better than all-nba 3rd team (and only 3 times at that), etc.

Super Mario has rings; Big Shot Bob has so many he thinks he's an HoFer. He's not, they're not.

Rings are great, but had those Rox teams swapped MadMaxx for Reg - gie, oh my would Reg - gie have rings!

Lots of HoFers were one-dimensional. Iceman? Russell?

Not really, he said he was a shooter, that's it..he didn't even want to acknowledge anything good about Max, since he put him on his all crazy list.

Watch the sequence, he says Mason has talent unlike those on his all crazy list, but then quickly says well Max could only shoot..

He said vernon maxwell had talent cause he could shoot.

    1. You said reggie said vernon did not have talent. Which is wrong.

    2. This wasn't even a major topic, he spent more time talking about ron artest.

    3. Do you reach for the stars? You're definitely reaching here for this thread

In other words, he can ONLY shoot and without shooting, he has no talent. I don't care what you consider a major topic, the crazy eyes part made it funny.
