I think losing Josh Smith is a GOOD thing for this team

2.6 assist to 2.4 TOs, and having the ball in the hands of a guy who teams Hacka to create even more virtual TOs by having him clank at the charity stripe and cough up a good possession. A/TO ratio of 1.08.

Kostas had a 9.5% playmaking usage for the Rockets, more than Josh Smith. Let that sink in. And His A/TO ratio was 1.54. And he could shoot 72% of his FTs. But do we want Kostas to playmake? Hell no.

So with J Smoove going Point Forward, just because we did doesn't mean we should have, or that we should have tried to do that again next season.

I remember another LA team that was loaded with talent and everyone was giving the trophy before the season started...

Then the season started and the fizzled after their first losing streak...

I'd bet 100k that will change shortly after the season starts. This issue is proving it when you've got 100k riding on being stubborn.

    44 to 48 minutes of non-stop Hacka-Deandre/Josh. That's a problem maybe.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

move on folks, no need to either be bitter either way, Josh is gone and even with D-MO out i am totally cool with the rook Harrell getting some burn. We are in a better place overall post Josh Smith than we were last season

I wasnt a fan of the 2003-04 Lakers, but fizzled after their first losing streak? pointing to them as some sort of cautionary tale for the 2015-16 Clippers? Are you kidding? They were first in their division and went to the NBA finals.

The Clippers would love to be the 2003-04 Lakers, despite that team losing in the finals. The Clippers with CP3 hasn't even made it past the second round. As a franchise, they havent even come close to sniffing the NBA finals, let alone competing in it.

Smith will be missed. What I will not miss are the bricks he launched from the ft line. Between Smith and Howard, it was getting really embarassing to be a Rockets fan while those two made sure they took the paint off the rims. The team can live with one horrible ft shooter, especially someone like Howard who contributes so much in other areas, but not two of them.

Jordan has averaged 35 minutes per game past two years.

    So...13 mpg at center?

Smith is gonna get pissed just like how LMA is going to get pissed at playing center. LMA said one of the most important things was playing just the role of PF, and I assume he'll be playing center a lot with Duncan's minute restrictions

The will all soon realize the should of come to houston

I'll take Capela vs. Josh at C any day, it's going to be like a western with Clint having two guns to draw and Mr. Smith was just one Wessun

    Not worried about losing Josh.

Clips have two of their main 3 big men shooting 40% from the charity stripe. Just hack, hack and more hack. Pop gonna make them mad

    Yes you're correct...

But they did not win the championship, although multiple individuals were ready to hand them the trophy....

The clippers are loaded with talent, but we will see what happens.
