I went down to S.A. this weekend and had the great pleasure of seeing the team get on the bus outside the Mariott Rivercenter. Here is what I witnessed:

Hakeem: Pretty congenial overall. Signed autographs of the kids.
    Mo: Cool....autographed everything.
Mooch: Pretty mellow. I was fortunate enough to get the only autograph. Signed my MOOCH! t-shirt.
Bull: BY FAR the coolest Houston Rocket player. He stopped, signed my ATM reciept and talked to me for a minute or two.
Shandon: Walked by everyone, looking pissed.
    Cat: see Shandon
    Steve: see Shandon
    Los: see Shandon
    KT: talking on cell phone
Collier and Langhi: on the bus before I got there.

Overall, they were all pretty pissy, but I guess that what you get from a team that had lost to the Clippers 2 nights before.

At the game Hakeem was joking around in pre-game warmups. Mooch and Cat were messing around with him, so maybe things have smoothed over for him being a distraction.

Good info, Drewdog. You can't really blaim any of the guys for being in a bad mood. That Clipper game was atrocious.

What did Bull say to you? He has always been my most favorite Rockets player who isn't, and won't ever be, a superstar.

    RunninRaven-

Yeah Bullard was I guy I would like to go get a beer with. He stopped right before he got on the bus, and made a comment on my Mooch t-shirt saying how he liked it. I told him to keep draining threes for us.
He said...You mean you dont want to see me dunk?.....laughing I said go for it....then thanked him as he got on the bus. He was the only Houston Rocket player that was ENJOYING signing autographs.
I have alot of respect for Bull.....Good guy, and Im sure a great teamate to have.

...and quite a broadcaster too :)

    Let's hope the organization gives
him a shot behind the main mike
(not that the Comets gig is bad),
one of these days, when Gene
finally decides to hang 'em up.

Bullard is without a doubt, one of the more personable players in the league. Last year during the ceremony for Barkley's last game Bull was taking off his shoes at the scorers table and he just walked over to this kid(about 5-7 yrs old) and handed him one of his shoes. You should have seen the look on that kids face, sitting there holding Bulls shoe(had to be a size 18-20). Matt gave his other shoe to another kid, smiled and winked at him and turned around to watch the rest of the ceremony. The guy is definitely a class act.
