Fortunately. the polls already show Cruz Bustamante, the Lt. Gov ahead of Arnold, with the Democrats sure to coalesce. Arnold gets the white Republicans. Cruz gets the Hispanic vote. This is a wash. As for the rest of the vote , since Cal is 2/3 Demo, Arnold loses unless the Demo vote splits too bad. Cruz can run again as an incumbent. Cal is one state where the racism and immigrant bashing of the GOP has done for years can't be overcome with a quick spin job by Arnold. Hopefully Arnold and the Repubs can spend a $100 mill in a losing effort. I'm also hoping Ariana keeps the focus on how, Bush, Cheney, Ken Delay and the Enron crowd cheated Cal out of billions aggravating the fiscal crisis. Maybe there will be enough of an outcry to spur an investigation of the Cheney/ Ken Delay energy shenaningans.
