I've never seen this kind of string of bad luck or **** play or whatever you want to call it, against one team. It's like everything is breaking in their favor. Other than Napoli foul ball. That was close.

No, but I didn't want a double play either.

Its not the 1st inning... its the 7th.

If not the HR, getting runs home is hard. Very, very hard.

Runners at 1st and 2nd with 0 outs for the top of the order and we come away with 0 runs.

I can't help but throw my hands in the air in frustration and why wonder why (Rhetorical question btw) :(

is his name seriously pronounced GEMinez? somehow i doubt that.

hey..look..the astros didn't score a run with runners on base and no one out. shocking.

What I don't understand is why pitchers ever throw strikes to Altuve. He swings at everything.

I am not enjoying watching this. I really don't know why I still have the game on. This is so freaking frustrating.

we suck. get a high ba OF, preferably cespedes would be a start. then start aj reed at 1b and you'll have a decent lineup.

    Springer
    Altuve
    Cespedes
    Correa
    Aj Reed
    Gomez
    Lowrie/moran
    gattis/tucker
    Castro

It has less to do with luck and more to do with a decision by the Astros not to manufacture runs and sit back for the home run. That loses you a lot of close games on the road, which this team has done all year. It also loses you playoff games.

I've been lambasted all season for saying this, but until they decide to play small ball they will continue to lose away from MMP.

Its probably harder to try and actively throw a ball well out of the zone to him.

Even unintentional-intentional walks feature pitches that are somewhat close (but just off), which he can still put into play quite easily.

You see it all the time where pitchers even screw up the intentional walk throw (or throws to first, etc.). Its unnatural.

2006.... it wasn't the middle ages.

But hey, the iPhone hadn't come out yet, so maybe it was for some people.

Valbuena and Carter and Gattis can all go play for the White Sox next year. Move Lowry to super utility and let Tucker and White fight it out for DH... Get a real 3rd baseman in here... and if they don't think Reed is ready, they better shove a mitt on Tucker or spend the 7 million to deal for Lind or someone that can have a 350 OBP.
