    And next year it will likely have a healthy Yu Darvish on top of this...but I shouldn't worry because there's a nerdy ass statistical formula somewhere that tells me I shouldn't. And the Astros are clearly on the cusp of multiple championships after 50 effing years of getting to one World Series.


    I'm sure I hurt someone's feelings so i'm sorry..relegate me to another thread where i can speak what i've actually seen instead of some formulaic nonsense.

    The truth is somewhere in the middle. The Astros rebuild is going very well but the arrogance is deafening. Right now the Astros don't deserve to make the playoffs.

    I think this is a little bit over the top here. Still have one of the youngest teams in the league and the deepest system in baseball. Regardless of how this season ends up the organization looks to be in very good shape.

    It's been around for 50 plus effing years and has one World Series appearance to show for it. It got swept.

    I love this franchise more than most of you i'd guess. It's like family to me. And I'm effing pissed off at it. This is a gigantic choke job we're witnessing...and I get to hear that we're on the cusp of greatness. Sure...I've seen that movie before. I liked it better when it was called the Nats..or the 86Rockets..or the 95 Magic.

    JUST WIN SOMETHING...ANYTHING...EFFING EVER!!!!!!!!! WIN A RING!!! MY GOD....50 EFFING MOTHER FALCON YEARS AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

    i don't want to hear anymore about how it's going to happen. enough. i'll be mother falcon dead before it happens and someone will be talking about how effing great the mother effing farm system is. ENOUGH!!!!!

    But we've got formulas that say we're actually winning!!! #NerdWin!!!!

    Doubt you love the Astros more than I do, although I don't doubt your love. Just remember Luhnow hasnt been here 50 years. Besides it could be worse... Look at the Oilers/Texans diarhea that has been Houston football.
