Thanks Rudy, you moron! Your wacky rotations that include major minutes for Walt screwed us out of any realistic chance of winning this game. You should loose the title of Coach and be called the ‘Nutty Professor’!

It was during one span of the game in the 4th that you had Moochie, Cat, KT, Walt and Steve on the floor at the same time. It was during that span that Duncan was going off and the Spurs pulled ahead for an 8 pt lead!

I think your overreacting a tad. It was the other spurs players, Kerr and others, that were benefiting off the doubles thrown at duncan. I question Rudy's rotation pattern, but players decide games not coaches... and referees.

Hakeem should have been on Duncan. To me that is so obvious. Hakeem should have been guarding Duncan. Even when Hakeem finally entered the game with around 3 minutes left, he was guarding Robinson. Hakeem should have been guarding Duncan.

I think I've been about as patient as anyone with Kelvin Cato, but where the hell and what the hell is the status of him? I never hear anything about him. He doesnt travel with the team on the road. He would make a big difference for this team, because at least he could bother the shot of a duncan or garnett. And I know preseason doesnt mean alot, but the rockets beat the spurs and blazers in the preseason when he was playing.

i seem to remember duncan once saying that KT was a good defender. I remember the quote, i also think in college Kt shut him down. Maybe KT just had a bad night.

Ok then why is it that the coach is the first person to go when things arent going right?

I don't think he is overracting. As a matter of fact he is right on the mark. This whole season could be looked at coaching. I guarantee you if Phil Jackson or Pat Riley were here the Rockets would have at least won 7-10 games more because those 2 coaches are not gonna take any sh** from the players especially when they are half-a**ing or taking crazy shots. Their but** would be on the bench.

Grant it Rudy is a players coach but sometimes you need an X's and O's coach and Rudy is not that. He is a good motivator but not a very smart coach.

Coaches decide which players get to decide the game and Rudy T made some very poor decisions keeping Kenny and Walt in the game to guard Duncan early in the 4th. Of course Anderson hit some wide open shots during that stretch, Steve had no choice but to help out in the paint. And then Walt follows Anderson's shots with bricks. Great coaching Rudy T!

Ok, I said I get mad with Rudy's wierd substitution patterms. A coaches job is to put players in positions where they can be succesful, and I admit Rudy has done a bad job of that at times. Please dont mention Phil Jackson, because that man is the product of good environment. He is overrated and has benefited from being around good players. If you think he motivates players, watch a lakers game and count how many times he gets up from his seat... not alot. He garners players respect from his championship rings, not from his actions.

thats a very ignorant post. every rocket lost this game. i like how u and ZRB manage to fine one and only one reason houston loses every time. hakeem proly shouldve been on duncan. but hakeem isnt as quick as mo taylor is who matches up better in terms of athleticism. duncan wouldnt be denied. get over it. spurs are a better team. rudy T wasnt coaching spectacular. but stop w/ this crap that he is the SOLE reason we lost the game.

I agree with most of the post in here. I've said all along that Rudy isn't that good of a coach. He's showing it now more than ever.

Also, most coaches are fired when they dont have the respect of the players, not necesarily on the record of the team.

I would have played Los more minutes than KT. I would have kept Shandon in the game more. As soon as I saw Walt was not hitting his shots he would have been done for the night! Which means Walt could have stayed in the lockers at the half time. And at no point in the Game would I expect KT and Walt to try and handle the paint against Duncan! And I would have tried to keep Mo involved in the game. Once again Mo hit a lot of baskets early in the game and then the Rockets forgot about him. Mo would not come out in the 3rd and then sit until more than half of the 4th is over. Rudy T just makes some weird decisions!

I have no problem with Mo Taylors play tonight! Learn how to read! Mo did a good job on Duncan! It was Rudy T's goofy ass substitutions that put us down by 8 about midway through the 4th. It should have been Mo and Los instead of KT and Brick...I mean Walt.

I agree with you to an extent on Phil Jackson being in a good environment and all but last year I saw him take Kobe out of the game when he was jacking up ill advised shots. I also see him taking folks out when they dont play within the confines of the offense.

True that Phil Jackson has the two best players in the game right now but that same talent was there 3 years prior and no one could get the Lakers to the Finals and Jackson gets their and they win. I also think he makes adjustments as well as anyone in the game even though I think he is overrated as well. He does know his X's and o's.

If Rudy has that same team do they win a championship? Nope, because he wouldnt be able to get into Kobe's grill and tell him not take crazy shots.

Also to play the devils advocate someone on the outside looking in could say Rudy won his championships with a good environment with the best player in the league on his team.

Larry Brown is a great coach to me, because he has gone into BAD situations and produced winning teams. Phil Jackson has ALWAYS walked into good situations. I would like to see what kind of results he would produce if he coached the Grizz or Wizards.

He knows he does not have the skillz to turn that club around. I agree with you about Larry Brown.

I agree with you on Larry Brown being a good coach but how bad were the teams that he had to start with? Didn't they each have a star player to work with ie., Reggie Miller and Allen Iverson? I would really like to see him go to the Wizards or Grizzlies and just win 30 games.

Also has he won any championships?

There are 3 diff kinds of "good coaches"... The one that can make a bad team be decent (Bill Fitch), one that makes a decent team even better (Larry Brown), and one that is able to make a great team stay great (Phil Jackson)...

I don't think Rudy fits in any of those capacities... While I am in the mood to bash Rudy, he's no horrible at least... But, he's not all that... I think he's an average coach coaching an average team... Hence, the reason why we are a mediocre team...

Pretty soon, the team needs to be upgraded, or the coach... Or we'll be stuck in mediocrity for years to come...

i like the rudy but hell he better make a trade soon. steve and francis are doing what they can. Rudy has some good x and o's but i really don't believe his choice of players are all that great well lineups... i say we go for a trade and reef in town. if reef really loves rudy and is really as smart as it hink he is. steve anderson cat and reef will flourish to woop some major ass. wizard is worthless. i still think we should trade him.
