    Hasn't Simms actually been looking good in the Bucs camp and pre-season? And no i'm not talking about how handsome he is.

    Those FSU teams were dominant, with athletes at every position. FSU was an NFL draft pick factory.

    I think partly so that Simms doesn't feel added pressure from the local media, who so closely scrutinized him at UT.

    I think Simms was better off going anywhere BUT to Houston or Dallas.

    Were they really top 5? I remember them being top 10, but never being that high. I do remember them never being able to win the big game against Florida State, though.

    I think they were in the top 5 until their annual loss to FSU, but I could be wrong.

    In 2 seasons against FSU, Carolina scored 3 points. Sound familiar?

    As I review the boxscore of the 1997 game, what's even more disturbing is why the hell would a team kick a FG in the 4th quarter trailing 20-0?

    I guess when you accumulate only 73 yards of total offense, moral victories are necessary.

    Off subject a bit, but Simms is in against the Rams and......................3 and out 2 sacks. Mobility is still a problem. I never thought his mobility would be such a factor in the NFL.

    edit: Simms looks sharp in his second series...
