Would anyone here be for getting Van Excel to play back up point for stevie. How much is his contract worth? Could we trade moochie for him straight up?

I doubt Golden State would part with NVE so soon. Wait til he's at least played a single game with the team!

No it would not work. Moochie makes 3.6 million Van Excel makes 10.9 million. Besides, he's the last thing we need -- MORE DRIBBLING.

We need a defensive minded, low turnover, high assist backup point guard like:

    Eric Snow
    Charlie Ward
    Kevin Ollie
    Tyron Lue
    Jeff Mcginnis
    Jamal Tinsley
    Daryl Armstrong

Perhaps Brent Barry for height when Steve plays the 2.

Wouldnt want it to. Its bad enough we are paying 3.6 mill. for a back-up, wouldnt want to pay 10.9 for one.

Do you really think the Warriors would trade Jamison for Moochie, because that is in essence what you are proposing.
