I knew it was coming, this to me is crushing. I grew up listening to him on the AM dial, even carrying a radio in our little league dug outs to listen to the games and even during the 86' NL Championship game. So many late nights listening. Always will love Milo.

RIP Milo. Not a great voice, but a tremendous ambassador for the Astros over the past 30 years. Milo led a very interesting baseball life that famously included Hank Aaron's #715, and a fairly bitter feud with Harry Caray back in the day.

wonder if he and Harry Caray will duke it out in heaven or wherever they are

I don't think it's a sad day - given his age, accomplishments and general adulation of the fans. The man lived a fulfilled long life. May we all hope for such a life.

I am still waiting to hear what the damn score is on his play calls though.

Lulz. He was a great radio man for a long time, it's a shame that so many people will only remember him from his last 8 or so years.
