Need DK to step up tomorrow as the ace of our rotation. We have to win tomorrow given the matchup.

Usually you need to play defense at the end of games. Not the other way around. Don't understand the logic behind AJ

Only fitting this game ends on a sac fly and a crappy throw home from Rasmus. Rangers caught tons of breaks in this game

    19-25 coming in so 19-26.

We're gonna sit here and say they're unlucky and the tide will turn the other way eventually, but for the most part, check out the records of other potential playoff teams in one-run games. They're winning them more than they're losing them.

Toronto is worse than Houston. Giants too.

    Blue Jays: 13-25
    Yankees: 21-23
    Royals: 22-14
    Twins: 21-19
    Astros: 19-26
    Rangers: 25-20
    Angels: 26-16
    Mets: 24-23
    Nats: 20-18
    Cardinals: 29-21
    Pirates: 32-16
    Cubs: 30-19
    Dodgers: 21-22
    Giants: 16-23

This is what a good manager would do at this point instead of sit there and watch you team go through an epic, embarrassing collapse. Oh well...

    Evan Grant @Evan_P_Grant
Colby Rasmus has made three of the worst outfield throws I've seen in quite some time tonight.

For all those posting saying they are mad at Hinch for putting in Harris have every right to be. I have supported him but that move was absolutely horrible. He should have put in Gregerson and it's beyond me why he didn't. He's just not a very good manager

Hinch is awful, he is just not good.

I like the team, i think we are MUCH BETTER than our record, but i think the manager is holding this team up, we should be 3 or 4 games in front of the Rangers RIGHT NOW.

I've been saying for a long time this team was playing average, and now awful.
I've said this team is good IF the manager uses the players the right way.

He makes way too many mistakes with lineups, usage of relievers, and not giving VV or Feliz the opportunity to pitch in big time situations in the game.
Plus, too much Gattis and not enough Tucker as DH.

Hinch is for me the one to blame for this debacle.

Not really, ALL TEAMS ARE OUR DADDYS when we play on the road.

Still 8 more games on the road, ouch

Just a really bad time for most parts of the team to stop playing well - almost all facets of the game are worse than they were at the beginning of the year. Altuve's lack of plate discipline is one my biggest pet peeves.

No, he's right. Rangers do own the Astros, home or away.

Astros are pathetic on the road and quite frankly, there's no good excuse for it.

Can we explain Hinch that we can use the HIT AND RUN in the games?????

Correa is good with the bat, he drives the ball to right field, why not use the hit and run with Altuve on first???
Why did you take your best defensive player in a tied game, and pinch hit for the guy because a righty came to bat? He hits righties better than lefties.
Why not save Tucker to hit for Gattis later on?
Why used Harris? Now 3 straight games sucking???? Where was VV? Feliz? Gregerson???
Why Villar was not holding the line with 2 outs and Beltre hitting and Fielder at 1st?

Now you people ask why we lose so many 1 run games??????? You don't think the manager has a lot to do with it????

Lets see how jake could of made a difference.

The hit in front of Colby as he was playing on the warning track, may have been caught. If the ball does fall in front , the runner may not have ran to 3rd. With the medium sacraffice ball, Rangers may or may not have sent the runner due to zero outs and Jakes arm. The throw would have been better in case the runner did go.

All this happened with jake out.
I bet tomorrow, AJ keeps Jake in
