This nice dude did the inside of my neighbor's house and some touch up work on the outside of my house. I'm not picky, but my neighbor is a stickler for good work, so I think he's pretty good. PM or email through the board for his info.
Ah, Not familiar with anyone I would recommend in that area of town. Maybe CertaPro Painters? Not sure what your budget is, I'm pretty sure they'll be on the higher side of estimates given their marketing budget. Only heard of them through the radio air waves.
I would cut the middle man and visit constructions sites and ask the guys who do the actual work how much. You can get the same quality work without the inflated contractor price. Me and my dad recently built a home to sell. And all of our labor was the construction guys who do the actual work.
