NBA 2K14 Eco Motion trailer for PS4 (breathtaking!)

Lolll. The Lebron emotion capture at 1:38ish looks so awkward..

 

It looks so good.....but I've be burnt so many times by the first generation of sports games on new systems. They normally play like complete garbage and take a backwards step in terms of in game options. Things like franchise modes are not as good as previous systems for instance.

Hopefully that won't be the case this time around.

This is very, very true. But they're closer to PC's now than ever which might change that.

 

2k14 knows that we're trading him for Deron Williams and Kevin Garnett clearly.

 

Lets hope so. With how much goes into making a game these days there's no reason at all for them to cut back on another of the other stuff in the game.

Looks like the Rockets practice jersey, but different.




Looks like the Adidas practice jersey because of the 3 stripes down the side, but the other parts of the jersey are different like the name on the back, number font, trim around the arms, etc.

They probably just didn't copy the practice jersey exactly.

 

It's amazing to me how they've finally put some "life" behind the eyes of the 3D models. that was always the freakiest thing about 3D games...how "empty" the eyes looked. It's still slightly a problem from the video...but there is definitely a more lifelike characteristic to them now. Pretty awesome imo.

Animations look awesome. NBA Live 14 looks too floaty and stiff in comparison.

 

They need to have eye movement and have the players shift their focus onto something every x amount of seconds. The way it is now, the players just move their heads and their eyes are always static. That's why it looks a little weird.
