Yeah I'm puzzled at his paltry contract as well. Would've loved to have him back on the Rockets for his shooting ability

 

I think that he could have gotten more than the vet min by some team who doesn'tcare so much about chemistry like the Kings. But he chose the Heat and Rilley worked his magic. It is a big get for them to have some bench because their starting lineup is the second best in the east.
Now it seems even the vet min will cost them 5 mil intaxes which makes even more imperative for them to find someone to dump Chalmers and Andersen to. Maybe if the Mavs find nothing to do with their capspace they will take them on in exchange of a prospect or a pick or smth.
