This whole "Bill is too much of a homer, not fair to the other team's fans" thing is such a joke. I want our guys to be homers. I really don't care what a bunch of millenials on reddit think about our broadcast, they don't have to watch if they don't like it.

I agree. That's the one thing that would actually make me purchase league pass again this year.

I like Ackerman. I think he has what it takes to do the job just as well.

Oh how sweet it is, I usually muted the sound when watching rockets with craig or watch the other teams broadcasters unless its the fakers, spurs and j*zz announcers.

    Love me some Bill.
Without him Rockets broadcasts are meaningless to me other than just watching the Rockets. I grew up with this man being the voice of my childhood passion.
Him, Gene and Jim are voices I will NEVER forget.

They should da at least 5-10 games as a throwback night where the commentary is Bill and Calvin. You get some great banter from those two

I seriously miss the days of Bill and Calvin. Not a fan of Ackerman, so it was a true treat to hear a true television voice and legend do the game last night. The Ackerman and Bull combination sounds like something you would hear for a high school game on public access cable.

I miss those days too! I just like Bill better. He's like Calvin, just a part of our history. Ackerman's whiny voice is annoying.

Hoping that the new owner thinks like us and drops Ackerman from the telecast and keeps him where he belongs which is on radio. He does a good job on the radio, but weirdly does not have a television type voice and personality.

I wasn't a fan of CA at first, but I think he is learning and has gotten a lot better.
