Yep. All teams have a version of these types of stretches at some point, no matter how bad/good you are, but over 162 they tend to even out.

Over 60, it ****s you up more than it should. For me, the rest of the year is simply about the further development/consistency of Framber, Urquidy, and Javier (along with the continued hitting of Tucker). Curious to see I the presence of fans will impact any player at the moment who is currently doing ok (mainly focusing on Framber/Javier).

I may be just recalling incorrectly here, but I don't recall a lot of 1-8 stretches for the Astros. Maybe in the dog days of 80 years in a row with 100 losses, but not recently right?

June 2019 (lost 9 of 11... in a year they won 107!)

And this just a cursory quick glance at results for those years.
