I have the Zune, it's Ok, but do to the fact that it doesn't have Asian encoding, I basically use it like a Ipod shuffle.
A friend of mine said the same thing for a couple of years. He just didn't get it... until he got an iPod. Then, it all made sense to him. There are tons of great options out there for music players, and the Creative one is probably one of the best cheaper alternatives on the market. But a Zune? Pass on it. It's priced about the same as an iPod but, from my experiences with it (my old roommate had one), I feel it's an inferior product. If anyone has any questions, I will be at the Apple Store for 6 hours tomorrow (3-9). Come on in, take a look at them, and decide for yourself. Seriously. It's the best way to do things. And drop a Rockets reference in conversation (we have a red/white iPod Nano -- that'll work).
