Rebraca played for Detoit last year before being traded to Atlanta for Sheed. He's a legit 7' and is your typical euro biggie, although he's not slow and plays good defense when asked upon. He's young and could provide a solid 15-20 minutes backing Yao that won't break the bank. I'm sure he'll be looking to get out of Atlanta since becoming a FA this season. I'd give him a good chunk of the MLE to come here.

    Thoughts??

I think he's ok. I've brought him up before - I think he'd work fine for us. I wonder why he's not getting any play and overactive happy feet guys like skinner and cardinal are getting big cash?

He was pretty decent in detroit, but did he play many minutes or was he stuck behind Jason "Crusher" Collier?

Rebecca should go back to the WNBA.

Seriously, I'd rather have Collier who would be cheaper and can do the same things.

Pryzibila was starting i believe. Collier didn't even come off the bench in Atlanta.

anyway, i just remember him playing well when we played Detroit.
He was there for 3 years before the trade.

Hell no. How is he different from Jason Collier? And last time I check, he is already 32, so where did you get idea he is still young. Have you watched him playing?

Przybilla was starting, go hurt again, and Collier stepped in and he and Rebraca split time.

Rebraca's in his thirties, and came to the NBA a few years after he was drafted. He can put up decent numbers in limited minutes, and can hit the midrange J and block the odd shot.

Everyone (except the last person) seems to be speaking based on zero knowledge. Rebraca is a solid big man. He had some issues in the last year-year and a half because of arrythmias and stuff, but his heart is supposedly cleared now and he's good to go. I think he'd be well-worth some portion of the MLE for a couple of years. Maybe similar to a Collier deal.

Speaking of whom, Collier did just fine last year when he got PT for the first time in his career. He would've been a good choice if he didn't re-up with the Hawks...of course, he hates the organization for dumping him on the IL for so long so I don't think he would've come back.

Rebreca had a nice season 2 years ago. Kaled made a good point about his condition. He was a legitimate center with good defensive ability. Collier is tall, but he labors running down the court from what I've seen.
