Thanks for the laugh. Irony at it's finest. Questioning somebody's intelligence in the same breath as this disaster of a post.
What about against the Bills in Week 1? What about those Super Bowl wins? I think Brady has beyond proven that he is clutch.
It was clutch but it was against the Bills. I don't know. Is it THAT far fetched to chose Palmer over Brady? I mean everyone is tripping out. If it helps, it's by a very small margin.
Ok, I was putting in the Bengals difference of record from last year's to this year's as a big factor, I guess i'm underrating Benson and the defense. I KNOW it isn't as far fetched as not putting Rivers in the top 10.
#1 Group (Future HOFs, or most likely to win future MVPs): Manning #1, Giselle's Husband, Big Ben, Drew Brees and Philip Rivers. (No order) #2 Group (Future HOFs in decline, borderline HOFs, or a solid pro bowl player who has a fair chance at HOF): K.Warner, D.McNabb, C.Palmer, A.Rodgers, T.Romo, and B.Favre (he's better than the guys below, even at 40) #3 Group (Too early to tell, or most likely pro-bowl level QBs, not really on pace for HOF, though): J.Flacco, M.Schaub, M.Ryan, J.Cutler, E.Manning, M.Hasselbeck, C.Pennington #4 Group (Good solid NFL starter, good game manager that doesn't necessarily has any game breaker ability, works well on more talented teams): D.Garrard, J.Delhomme (when he is play above average), J.Garcia, M.Sanchez, K.Orton, M.Cassel, and J.Campbell #5 Group (????): K.Collins, J.Russell, J.Johnson, J.Delhomme (when he is playing average or below), S.Hill, K.Boller, M.Bulger (he's gotten so many injuries over the years), D.Anderson, and D.Culpepper.
Brady had a low start because of the problem with his knee, but he is getting in shape now. Manning is great, but not the best, he has played against teams with a losing record now (except for Arizona). Palmer not in the top 5 now. Brees is really good this season. Mark Sanchez is all hype, but he is an average qb, like 19 if Schaub keeps being healthy, he is going to be great. I think Eli is overrated. Flacco is much better than M. Ryan Orton is playing better with the Broncos then Cutler
Aaron Rodgers is definitely up there. Currently has the highest QB rating in the league. Aaron Rodgers 65.3 % Completion 284.1 YPG 14 TD 2 INT 110.4 Rating Doing all this, despite being the highest sacked QB in the league (31).
And now tied with Schaub for the top fantasy QB, in 1 less game. He's just a shade under the Big 3 (Manning/Brady/Brees) right now on my list.
Not at all, I think they are both going to end up with top numbers in their conferences, and what Rodgers has been able to do with such a shoddy offensive line made me put him slightly ahead of Matt Schaub.
I think most of you have Favre ranked way too low. The guy is tied for the lead in TD passes with 16 and if it wasn't for a bogus tripping penalty he would have 17 and the Vikings would be 8-0. My top 5 1 Manning, Favre 2 Brees 3 Rogers 4 Shaub Brady is just on the outside because 6 of his TDs came in that fluky titans blowout.
That's why I also have Rodgers above Schaub. His o-line is literally nonexistent and he might not even survive all 16 games at the rate he's getting sacked. Despite all that, he's still got top QB numbers.
I'm assuming you've watched the Vikings games so I'm also assuming you know that a few of those wins (49ers, Ravens, and maybe Packers at Minny) weren't due to Favre's greatness.
